Client Onboarding

Every project begins with a complimentary consultation to understand your brand and objectives. I then develop tailored concepts, refine them collaboratively, and deliver a complete package of final assets.

A structured process designed for clarity, creativity, and impact.

1

Kick Off Call

Before any contracts are signed or deposits are made, we'll jump on a 30 minute complimentary call. This gives me a chance to learn about your brand and figure out where I can provide the most value. By the end of the call, we'll have a rough agreement on the project scope, deliverables, timeline and budget.

2

Project Proposal

Based on the insights from our Kick Off Call, I'll put together a custom project proposal that usually includes a couple of options, each of these will clearly outline the project timeline, deliverables and a detailed quote.

3

Sign The Contract

Once you have chosen your preferred option, I'll send over the contract, a project questionnaire, and a deposit invoice for 50% of the agreed fee. As soon as the signed contract and deposit are received, your project will be officially booked for the agreed start date.

4

Handover

Once each deliverable is approved, I'll send over the final invoice for the remaining project fee. As soon as payment is received, you'll get all the assets neatly organised in a user-friendly folder system. From there, it's time to roll everything out and make your mark on the industry!

Design Process

My design process blends strategy with creativity. I start by learning about your brand and audience, then sketch out ideas that bring your message to life. Through open feedback and iteration, we shape visuals that not only look great but work hard for your goals.

1

Research and Discovery

With your brief and moodboard in hand, I'll dive deep into combining them with detailed market research (and sometimes audience research) to uncover key insights that could shape our design direction.

2

Design Direction

Drawing from my research, I'll develop at least two design directions that align with your brief. Each concept will showcase elements like logo examples, colour palettes, typography, and more. I'll walk you through the concepts and share the presentation deck afterwards to guide the feedback process.

3

Initial Ideas

Once we've locked in your chosen design direction, I'll dive into generating dozens of initial logo concepts. The aim is to explore a wide range of ideas, then refine the stringest ones that emerge from the mix.

4

Idea Development

Next, I'll refine and develop a aelection of sketches from the initial concept stage. At this point, I've identified the strongest solution for your brief and will begin building it out - introducing colour, typography, patterns and other key elements.

5

Presentation

With the design work finalised, I'll put together a detailed presentation explaining each design decision and rationale behind it. Towards the end, you'll see industry-specific mockups to help you visualise exactly how the work will come to life in your world.

6

Finalise

After a few days, once you're confident in your feedback, you'll send it over to me via email. Depending on the extent of the revisions (if any), I may present the designs to you again, addressing all your points, until we've finalised and approved each deliverable.

Are all of your projects structured this way?

While this process is more tailored to Brand Design, this is the process I have found to be the most efficient and effective across the board. In most instances where there are additional deliverables or varied practices, I will adapt my process to suit accordingly.

What My Clients Say

(In no particular order, they're all great)

Nick understood exactly what OOOSCH needed: energy, attitude, and impact. The campaigns he delivered across buses, Tube stations, and digital formats helped us reach new audiences and build a recognisable presence across London. A brilliant collaborator and a genuinely talented designer.

I worked with Nick for many years on the graphic design for our music events, and he was consistently brilliant. Whether I came to him with a specific concept or let him lead with his own creativity, he delivered eye-catching, visually appealing posters that directly helped us sell more tickets. Nick is incredibly friendly, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use him for any future graphics requirements and highly recommend his services.

Alana

Ohk Energy

Nick was a massive help with my early-stage brand design. He challenged me to think deeply about the message and feeling I wanted to communicate, then brought it to life through strong brand guidelines and beautiful design work across digital and physical formats. I'd definitely recommend a conversation at the very least with him.
